Alcohol: In Which Way Has It Affected You?

G. K. Chesterton said, ” Drink because you are happy, but never because you are miserable.” 

How many times have you watched someone drinking and wondered the same thing? Are they miserable or happy?  

Life has brought several types of alcohol-related circumstances in my life that have affected who I have become. These circumstances started in childhood with a parent and continued differently in the marriage. 

Ringo Starr said, ” That’s all drugs and alcohol do, they cut off your emotions in the end.” 

How many times have you dealt with emotions being cut off? How did this affect who you have become?
