Portraits of time on the tree begins with family tree and genealogy. A family tree is a chart that maps lineage, usually of a particular person, as far back as records allow.

Genealogy>> the term ‘genealogy’ is the study of family ancestors with documentation of birth, marriage, and death dates through parents, grandparents, great grandparents, as far back as possible.

Portraits can speak volumes if you study them and have a keen eye. For instance, if the picture has a calendar or maybe a familiar object in the background. A calendar might reveal a year and if there is an object such as a radiator heater well you can pinpoint the time or place you remember seeing that object. That kind of information can keep me hunting for hours.

Portraits Of Time On The Tree are even more exciting if they have a famous landmark!!! Then you can ask why were they there and what could have been the purpose? This a current dilemma I face with my spouse’s family photos. An Aunt on his mother’s side traveled but I have not as of yet figured out if it was career-related or if she was a wonderlust type of person?
