  • 1lb vegetable oil (480 g)
  • 1lb all-purpose shortening (480 g)
  • 1lb bread flour (480 g)


Step 1

Place all ingredients in a bowl of a mixer fitted with a paddle attachment. Blend on low speed for 5 minutes or until smooth.

Step 2

Store in airtight container at room temperature for 1 month.

Step 3

Apply to baking pans in a thin even layer using a pastry brush.


The thick coating may leave a discernible taste.
Make small batches so it does not turn rancid.
Replace after 1 month.
