59 days left until the end of 2019. The next 58 nights you will travel on The Night Train To The End Of Another Year!

You step onto the train right at sunset this evening, find your seat and “oh no!!” you are sitting all alone with your thoughts. The conductor informs you that each day you may rest, explore and eat all you want. Each evening you must be in your seat to travel through the tunnels leading towards the end of your year. 58 nights of sitting with your own thoughts of the year almost behind you.

Tonight as you enter the first tunnel leading to another day closer to the end, you sit there strong and head up. Your mind wants to drift to the lost of a boyfriend/girlfriend, spouse or family member. You swear to yourself you will not show emotions around the other passengers as you hear…

Excited that light is showing it’s sweet self at the exit of this first tunnel, you made it through another night with your thoughts. Spending this day enjoying new food and scenery makes you forget what happened last night. Then you gasp at the thought of the clocks rolling back and night comes sooner this time of year. You will have a longer time with those thoughts!!

Nights 57, 56, 55 etc…..may have you on an emotional roller coaster, with all that you faced this 2019. This conductor wishes 4 things for you during your last 58 nights on ” The Night Train To The End Of Another Year!”

4 Wishes from the conductor

“Art is about energy positive and negative. All art has the power to heal because it helps us see who we are, and what we resist.” ~ Shirley MacLaine

“Prayer is speaking to God. Meditation is listening to God. Trust tranquility.” ~ Shirley MacLaine

“There’s no journey worth taking except the journey through one’s self. That’s the most important journey you take. I found that out as I went around the world many times: I was learning about me.” ~ Shirley MacLaine

For the Woman!!

The best way to get husbands to do something is to suggest that perhaps they are too old to do it.” ~ Shirley MacLaine

Oh gosh Donna, I absolutely love the way you added sound to this! Really enhanced the story, which was so wonderfully written. I just wanna jump on the night train now, and become lost in thought, oblivious to the whole world! And that last quote is the best! I may just have to use that one! 😉 Lol…

Oh, I understand how that is… writing emotionally exhausting pieces isn’t easy. It’s almost like you have to take breaks in between just to recover.

Yes and I currently do not have a proofreader or even someone just to run thoughts by but God always provides in time. I have caused an English Professor to get emotional about mom’s story and have caused my brother to cry so I just have to accomplish it.
