September has arrived and although we are 8 days from it being officially Fall, this Saturday afternoon in Missouri we are in the 90’s outside.  I would love to hear where you are reading from and how the weather compares to our hot sun shining weather.

This time of year, I absolutely love to bake and since we’ve had a neighbor come for dinner a couple times that encourages me just a little bit more.  The past week we have had cookies and homemade Chocolate/ orange Brownies.

We are also only 100 days from Christmas…..have you began to think about projects? I have for many reasons. My mom has been very ill and my spouse is always questionable so I hope to make this year memorable for them and my grandson.

Speaking of projects the blog will start sharing Portfolio’s of some projects as well.

Just to recap…8 days until fall and 100 days until Christmas!!

This year has certainly flown by quickly and been a very busy one at that, please share in the comments any traditions we can try or even your comments on the projects your hoping to accomplish.

Thank you for visiting NewlifeduringMidlife!!!

As the weather cools and shorter days it just seems like the perfect time to bake!

It is amazing how quickly the time flies by…our Florida weather is still warm and humid, and won’t start to cool off for another month or so.

Thank you for visiting. I do not travel much, but my neighbors leave in October for six months to Florida and they brag about the weather and activities often.
